A virtually unfired second hand example of this Merkel 140AE double rifle chambered in 30-06. As with all Merkel made rifles the 140AEs are renowned for their reliability and accuracy and this gun is no exception. With 23 5/8″ barrels fitted with iron sights currently, but the ability to fit a scope or red dot this gun is incredibly versatile, ideal for driven hunting in Europe, Plains Game in African and even Scottish hill stags. The action features very tastefully done game scene engraving with a nicely figured wood work and a classic cheek piece. A lovely all round Merkel 140AE double rifle, one anyone would be lucky to own.
