This Purdey Pigeon shotgun was made in 1949 and is masterpiece of its era. The 28" raised rib, side clipped barrels are 1/2 and 3/4 choked. These fit on the deeply figured 14 3/4" stock and colour hardened action, creating a beautifully balanced shotgun weighing 7lb 4oz. This is an excellent chance to own a spectacular example of English gunmaking. The gun is complete in its original labelled leather maker’s case, alongside accessories.
