It retains all of the original colour hardening which covers the delicate gamescene engraving on the scalloped action sides, further decoration includes deeply carved fences. The long straight hand stock is deeply figured and decorated with drop points. This gun comes complete with its maker’s leather labelled case.

An exceptionally good 12g boxlock ejector from this famous Edinburgh maker. It has a delightful scalloped action which retains a considerable amount of the original colour hardening and is delicately engraved with fine scroll engraving. The scalloped action is complemented by a straight hand stock decorated with drop points. It has 27” barrels that measure perfectly and is presented in as new condition. A gem indeed.

Browning B25 C2S Over & Under 12g

Handmade from Belgium, a very little used example, with 30” barrels choked 1/4 and 3/4. It has sideplates engraved in panoramas of gamescenes, the detail of the artists work at the finest level. It has a narrow game rib fitted with a brass bead and balanced by a very well figured pistol gripped stock. Presented in its maker's leather case.

Abbiatico and Salvinelli Posieden 20g

Surely one of the prettiest 20g over and under sidelocks one could hope to set eyes on, with extensive panoramas of gamescene including a trio of pheasants searching cover and a pond of ducks leaving for flight, water splashing round there feet. Extensive detail by the latest master engraver Volpi taught by Terzi himself. The action extends into the forend and offers the engraver the opportunity to display the finest floral and scroll to great effect. 29" barrel, 15” exhibition grade straight hand Stock and perfect balance. Fabulous.
